Information
The Pinot Noir vines planted on silty-clay soils with a low proportion of limestone reflect the excellent Burgundy terroir with purity and finesse. The grapes are entirely hand-picked to preserve both the fruit and the soil. The grapes are meticulously sorted, destalked and vinified in a traditional, low-intervention fashion. Alcoholic fermentation is conducted in open vats for around 15 days with two daily punch downs. The cuvée is then carefully aged for 12 to 15 months in oak casks, with 10% new wood, before being bottled.
The bright purple colour reveals a superb bouquet of red fruit developing into scents of ripe fruit. The fresh and generous palate reveals a beautiful liveliness culminating in a long, flavoursome finish. This cuvée can easily be cellared for several years.
