Information
The Ladoix appellation covers some 50 hectares is home to Chardonnay vines that thrive in clay, limestone and flint soils. Each parcel is lovingly nurtured to preserve the harmonious balance between man and nature, guaranteeing a raw material of the highest quality. In the vineyard, the grapes are exclusively harvested manually to preserve the soils and fruit. The grapes are meticulously destalked and vinified following traditional Burgundian methods. The wines ferment in open vats for around 15 days with two daily punch downs. The cuvée is then carefully aged for 13 months in oak casks, with 10% new wood, before being bottled.
The bright ruddy-red colour reveals a delicate bouquet of delightful aromas of ruddy and cherry. The round, generous palate reaffirms the aromas of the nose in a fresh and delicious style.
