Information
The Nebbiolo vines planted at an altitude of around 350 metres in the heart of Piedmont benefit from an ideal south-east to south-west exposure, creating a wine widely recognised as one of the benchmarks of Castiglione Falletto Barolo. Grapes are hand-picked to preserve this wonderfully powerful variety. The fruit is carefully transported to the winery, where it is pressed and crushed. The fermentation process is then carried out in large, temperature-controlled wooden tanks. Lastly, the cuvée is aged in oak casks for several months before being bottled.
The elegant deep and slightly glossy ruby-red colour reveals an expressive bouquet of black cherry, morello cherry and prune. On the palate, luscious notes of cocoa bean and cinnamon combine perfectly in a velvety, fleshy texture, leading to a persistent, fruity finish.
