Information
Domaine Zeroine is located in the Jura. Rare and sought-after, this notably discreet estate has earned its reputation through the healthy cultivation of its grapes and its minimal, sometimes completely non-intervention, winemaking. A small gem waiting to be discovered!
This authentic flavoursome cuvée is produced from Riesling grapes meticulously selected near Obernay in Alsace. Healthy and precise organic and biodynamic viticultural practices ensure the vines flourish. Once in the winery, the Riesling grapes are pressed directly. After a light settling, the juices are poured into 14 hectolitre casks for spontaneous fermentation. Lastly, the cuvée is matured for two years in wooden ‘foudres’ (large capacity tuns), with topping-up every other week.
The clear and shimmering golden colour releases elegant scents combining exotic and floral notes with a subtle touch of white fruit. The lively and generous mouthfeel offers a beautiful balance of acidity and fat culminating in a persistent mineral finish. This cuvée promises excellent ageing potential.
