Information
Soulane is a Vin de France wine that embodies the authenticity of the limestone terroir of the Causses plateaus. Located in France’s southwest, this wine-growing region has a thousand-year long history. The name Soulane means “sunny slope” in Occitan, a name perfectly selected for this wine, whose vines benefit from exposure to the south, promoting optimal maturity while maintaining freshness and balance. Harvests are carried out by hand, and the grapes are meticulously sorted before fermentation begins using indigenous yeasts. This wine is produced without the addition of any unnecessary additives. After fermentation, it is aged on lees to preserve the fruit's purity while giving it structure.
The wine has a deep garnet-red colour, and the nose is expressive with a blend of black fruits and sweet spices alongside earthy and smoky notes. The texture is juicy and fleshy on the palate with velvety tannins and a delightful freshness that leads to a persistent, mineral and indulgent finish.
