Information
This cuvée comes from a Grand cru vineyard in the Rheingau Valley. The terroir is composed of schist and sandstone, with a significant presence of limestone. These well-drained, nutrient-poor soils naturally regulate vine growth, concentrating flavours while ensuring good ripeness. Due to the steep, high-altitude conditions, all vineyard work is carried out by hand. In the winery, the grapes are gently pressed before fermenting in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, preserving the Riesling’s characteristic fruit and floral aromatics. The wine is then aged on its fine lees for several months, adding complexity and texture while maintaining freshness.
The pale yellow hue is graced with golden glints. The aromatic nose reveals notes of stone fruit and white flowers, with a distinct mineral edge. Fresh and lively on the palate, the wine is driven by crisp acidity, supporting a subtly fleshy texture on the finish.
