About the Producer Jean-Baptiste Arena
★ Partner ProducerSon of Antoine Arena, Jean-Baptiste Arena now grows grapes on the terroirs of Grotte di Sole (both red and white) as well as Patrimonio (white). The domain currently spans 5 hectares; he is progressively taking over the running of the family domain. The philosophy is much the same as that of his father: intransigence in the vineyard and winery alike, inputs are banned and respect for the terroir is the top priority. The vineyard is tended biodynamically and all the work is done by the family. The wines are full of energy and purity, raised in vats and concrete, with meticulous maturation periods. Year after year, Jean-Baptiste produces highly digestible wines.
