The luminous pale too golden-yellow colour reveals an intense nose with aromas of white fruit such as peach and pear, notes of citrus and honey, and delicate floral hints. The palate is characterised by a fresh, lively attack, a smooth texture and harmonious sweetness, balanced by a refreshing acidity. Flavours of ripe fruit, honey and spices carry through to a long, elegant finish.
This Auslese Riesling pairs beautifully with blue cheeses, fruit-based desserts and spicy Asian dishes. We recommend serving it chilled, between 8 and 10 °C. This wine can be enjoyed young or after a few years of ageing for added complexity.

It is located in the Middle Moselle Valley, one of the most northerly wine-producing regions in the world. The vines can sometimes keep their leaves right through to December and the cool climate gives the Riesling fruity and floral aromas and high levels of acidity. Joh. Jos. Prüm belongs to the VDP - Die Prädikatweingüter, a prestigious association of Germany’s finest wine producers. His Rieslings are equally magnificent in their dry forms – Kabinett trocken, Kabinett – and sweet strong iterations (Auslese, Spätlese, and Trockenbeerenauslese). Each cuvée preserves the outstanding freshness which is typical of the Mosel-Saar region.
