Intensity
A seductive, festive and fruity sparkling wine with delicate bubbles.
More infoThe vines, averaging 50 years, grow on slightly sandy soils and enjoy an ideal south-facing exposure. Each parcel of Muscat grapes is pruned using the Guyot method, with the vines trellised to a height of just under two metres. The grapes are hand-picked at peak ripeness to preserve both the fruit and the soil. After being sorted and pressed, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel autoclaves with native yeasts. Once the wine has reached the desired alcoholic strength and optimal perlage, it is bottled and left to rest for three months before being released for sale.
The bright yellow colour and golden reflections reveal a full, elegant nose, with aromas of yellow peach and apricot combining with scents of acacia. The complex palate is perfectly balanced by a beautiful acidity culminating in a deliciously fresh and persistent finish.

About the Producer Cadgal
Situated on the hillside of Santo Stefano Belbo in Piedmont, this charming ten-hectare estate has been renowned for producing Moscato d’Asti for almost 150 years. Alexandro has been running the estate since the early 1990s, and his watchword is quality over quantity. In the vineyard, the winemaker applies basic, artisanal practices, akin to organic farming. Neither fertilisers nor chemical weedkillers are used, to make way for more precise and careful work of the soil. In the winery, the harvested grapes are vinified in a non-interventionist way to produce remarkable, perfectly balanced cuvées with a rich and varied aromatic spectrum. The estate released its first vintage in 1997 and continues to surprise the greatest Italian connoisseurs with its authentic cuvées, true mirrors of a unique terroir and rigorously balanced expertise.
