Intensity
A pure, lively and unadorned Aligoté expressing the natural freshness of the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, balancing zesty citrus and floral notes.
More infoThis cuvée comes from parcels located in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, planted on well-exposed slopes. The clay-limestone soils, composed of white marls and small stones, give the Aligoté a lively, mineral backbone and remarkable vivacity. These well-drained terroirs promote slow, even ripening while preserving a firm, structural acidity. The grapes are hand-harvested with meticulous sorting in the vineyard, then slowly and gently pressed as whole clusters. Fermentation is natural, carried out with native yeasts and without any œnological inputs. The wine is aged on fine lees for around twelve months in used casks, with no new oak, to preserve the freshness and aromatic purity of the grape variety.
The wine displays a pale yellow hue with silvery glints. The elegant, expressive nose reveals notes of ripe citrus and white flowers. On the palate, it is lively and precise, showing a razor-sharp minerality and a fine balance between ripe fruit, saline tension and crisp acidity.

About the Producer David Duband
The domaine was founded in 1991 by the businessman François Feuillet, the owner of the Trigano brand which is known for its caravans and trailers. He fell in love with the region and entrusted the development of the wines to David Duband, who had already harvested grapes for the cooperative of Beaune. The domaine is spread over 17 hectares, including Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, Clos-de-la-Roche and Charmes-Chambertin. All the ingredients are combined to perfect the classicism of Burgundy: the domaine is certified as organic and, in 2008, the choice was made to vinify non-destemmed grapes. Since 1991, the winemaker has evolved much in the style of his wines which have gained in precision and elegance. They are now one of the greatest wines of Côte d'Or and are on the menus of most French three star Michelin Guide restaurants.
