The wine

Nestled on clay-limestone soils, the Vosne-Romanée appellation enjoys a unique microclimate, where the south-eastern exposure ensures perfect ripening conditions for the grapes, resulting in a high-quality harvest. This terroir is renowned for its elegance and complexity, and its wines are often regarded as some of the most flavoursome and authentic in the world. The winemaking process for this cuvée is carried out with meticulous attention to detail. The Pinot Noir grapes, handpicked with care, are gently destemmed before fermenting in wooden vats. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, with a proportion of new wood, allowing nuances of oak to enhance the fruit’s purity without overshadowing it.
This red wine displays a radiant ruby hue. The nose opens with delicate aromas of raspberry and cherry, complemented by spicy and floral notes, with a touch of violet. On the palate, it is silky and well balanced, with fine tannins that give the wine a remarkable finesse. The finish is long and persistent, marked by a beautiful minerality.
