More infoThis cuvée, Le Zouave, is lovingly crafted from the finest old Syrah vines, aged between 80 and 100 years. Each plot is planted on clay-limestone terraces containing rolled Rhône pebbles. The grapes are meticulously gathered at peak ripeness to harvest only the highest quality raw material. The fruit is then transported to the winery and carefully sorted. The essential fermentation process is conducted in stainless steel truncated-cone vats. The cuvée is carefully aged in new barrels and barrels having contained several wines for about 12 months before bottling.
The intense, slightly shiny red colour reveals a rich, deep bouquet, characterised by complex aromas of small red fruits. The rich, generous palate reveals beautiful aromas of spices and cocoa, culminating in a lingering, flavoursome finish.
