Côtes-du-Rhône Stéphane Usseglio (Domaine) 2018
Côtes-du-Rhône AOC

This Côtes-du-Rhône blanc has a golden hue with a thick meniscus, the signs of creaminess, opulence and unctuosity. Its aromas of wax, green almond, aniseed and white fleshy fruit mean this is very rich on the palate. This wine beautifully combines substance, freshness, finesse and complexity.
About the Producer Stéphane Usseglio
Domaine Stéphane Usseglio (formerly Raymond Usseglio), was created in 1948 by Stéphane’s grandfather Francis who moved here from Italy in 1931. Stéphane took over management of the 24-hectare vineyard in Châteauneuf-du-Pape from his father in 1999. A good half of the Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan vines for red wine and the Clairette, Grenache white and Bourboulenc vines for white wine are 60 years old and the remainder are about 30. The vineyard was certified organic in 2012 and biodynamic in 2015. This property is one of the classics in this appellation and produces powerful, rounded and fruity wines.
