The adventure began in 1958, when Charles Verhaeghe started to plant vines on a mixed-crop holding. His two sons, Pascal and Jean-Marc Verhaeghe then took the reins, Pascal taking care of the vinification and Jean-Marc of the vines. The 27-hectare vineyard boasts a magnificent terroir and is planted with 90% Malbec. The wines from this domaine are of excellent quality and consistency. The two brothers also recently took over some vines in Roussillon.
