The organically-run Domaine Clavel is a 33-hectare family business which produces racy, fruity wines with powerful aromas. Located in Assas, Estelle, Pierre and their two sons cultivate their vines in pebbly soil, surrounded by forests and scrubland. They also experiment with biodynamic methods and limit their yields. Vinification methods are traditional, and élevage is conducted in concrete tanks, small foudre barrels and egg-shaped vats.

"Le mas" by Domaine Clavel is a sweet wine, round and flattering. It is characterised by a fresh attack, it is well-balanced with crunchy fruit and a nice finish. A real wine to enjoy with friends! As an introduction to the range of the domain, Le Mas is a blend of Grenache, Carignan and a touch of Syrah grown using organic methods.
