Information
Peggy and Jean-Pascal Buronfosse are two exacting winemakers making pure and very natural wines. The domain (situated just next door to that of the famous Jean-François Ganevat) is small and entirely organic: their 5 hectares is laid out to Chardonnay and Savignin for the whites (90% of their production) and Pinot Noir, Poulsard and Trousseau for the reds. In the winery they try to interfere as little as possible with nature. The wines from Domaine Buronfosse are subsequently an honest and elegant expression of their terroir with plenty of character. A true rising star of the Jura.
This is a pure Poulsard which shows all the potential this Jura wine variety has to offer. It charms us with its lightness and mouth-watering fruit. It is counterbalanced by slightly tangy notes. Perfectly balanced, this wine is enjoyed both when young and after a few years' aging.
