Information
Maison Ferrand lies in the heart of the cognac appellation and has always impressed us with its mastery of complex ageing processes. Here, this reserve cognac is made with a combination of Ugni Blanc grapes from various parcels on the estate. Ideal for distillation, these are harvested from the vineyard’s 120 hectares, which are subject to the famous micro climate of Grande Champagne, the historic heart of the appellation’s finest quality grapes.
Bottled at the cask strength of 42.3% ABV, this Premier Cru cognac offers a rich and complex palette of aromas dominated by vanilla, dried rose petal and candied apricot. On the palate, walnut, cinnamon and liquorice take centre-stage.
