Information
This Vieilles Vignes cuvée stems from the Côtes du Rhône appellation, a historic name in the southern Rhône Valley stretching across the sun-drenched hills of the south of France. Sandy soils and rolled pebbles provide excellent drainage, essential in this region where summers can be extremely hot and dry. Harvesting is done by hand, with meticulous sorting in the vineyard to retain only the best berries. After fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, the wine is aged in oak casks for around 12 months.
The vibrant, intense red hue with purplish glints reveals youth and concentration. The nose is expressive, offering ripe red fruit notes such as cherry, raspberry and blackberry, lifted by a touch of spicy black pepper, garrigue and lavender. The attack is supple and generous, with a silky texture and firm tannic frame.
