Alto Adige DOC Eichhorn Manincor 2023

The Alto Adige appellation lies in the Trentino-Alto Adige region of northern Italy, close to the Austrian border. The Pinot Blanc vines are planted on well-exposed slopes, benefiting from abundant sunshine and excellent air circulation. Manual harvests involve a rigorous selection of the finest bunches. In the winery, the grapes are gently pressed before undergoing temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel vats. This approach preserves the wine’s freshness while showcasing the purity of its aromas. The wine is then aged for around six months in seasoned stainless steel vats, preserving its vibrant character while adding complexity.
In the glass, the wine displays a pale yellow hue with bright green glints. The fresh, expressive nose reveals aromas of citrus fruit, pear and green apple, complemented by delicate floral notes and chalky minerality. Lively and crisp on the palate, it is driven by vibrant acidity that lends both structure and freshness.
