The wine

Reputed for the depth and cellaring potential of its wines, Denis Bachelet proposes a Gevrey-Chambertin which undeniably pays homage to the mythical appellation of Côte de Nuits. Powerful and concentrated, it releases aromas of dark fruits, violet and dry fruits due to its élevage. Structured by firm tannins, this wine rewards ageing in order to soften and become silkier. This is a wonderful wine that serves well with characterful meat dishes.
