Information
Since 1580, the Beyer family have built up a very good reputation. Situated in the village of Eguisheim, south of Colmar, the 14th generation of the Beyer family currently manages this estate that spans 17 hectares and boasts two grands crus. The variety of soils and terroirs is preserved thanks to biodynamic viticulture. The aromatic purity of the grapes is conserved through gentle anaerobic vinifications. The wines are compelling, with plenty of concentration. Perfect for ageing or pairing with fine food.
An exceptional location crossing a path of Saint Jacques de Compostela. Pilgrims can thus walk along the rows of Riesling which, after several weeks’ fermentation and élevage on fine lees in stainless-steel vats for ten months, it unfurls with breadth and indulgence. Its aromatic bouquet is explosive in exotic touches (pineapple) and spicy notes (ginger, coriander). The palate is energetic, corpulent and extremely long. Keep this exceptional wine in the cellar for a long time for the finishing touches. Guaranteed success with Thai food!
