Giulia Negri brings a new energy to this prestigious Piedmont region.
Giulia Negri’s family have been making Barolo wine for 150 years on the breath-taking slopes of Serradenari. After spending some time in Burgundy, Giulia returned to her native region where she proudly cultivates six hectares of vines into delicate, fruity cuvées. She grows local Nebbiolo and Barbera grapes for her prestigious wines, as well as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir out of curiosity.
The vines grow at varying altitudes and received official organic certification (Valoritalia) in 2019. This dynamic wine maker wants her wines to tell the story of Serradenari, and her maverick, small-scale approach to the craft shines a light on a new generation of vintners.
