Riesling Bollig-Lehnert Trittenheimer Apotheke Auslese 2009
The wine
The very ripe grapes in this Riesling make it one of the sweetest wines in the “dry” category. It stands out for its mineral quality and is also vibrant and complex with superb citrus, stone fruit and smoked notes, and an unctuous, honey-like palate. Enjoy this excellent wine with a dish such as slow-cooked poultry with dried fruits.
About the Producer Bollig-Lehnert
The current proprietor of the domaine, Stefan Bollig, can trace his winemaking pedigree back to his ancestors, who have been handing down their skills since the 17th century. However, the family's Trittenheim domain was only established and officially registered under the name Weingut Bollig-Lehnert in the 1960s. Today, Stefan Bollig stays true to his father Günther's motto “Quality and Tradition” by producing top-flight wines which are exported worldwide.
