Maggiori informazioniEach vintage year, brothers Julien and Clément Raimbault select a parcel of Pinot Noir grapes from their 20 hectares of vineyards that will be used to make rosé wine. They are grown on clay-limestone soil and are sustainably cultivated, without the use of insecticides, weed killers or anti-rot. After harvesting, the grapes are pressed straight away, without maceration, to preserve the aroma of small red fruits and its perfect freshness. The juice then ferments for 10 to 15 days on fine lees before being aged in vats for several months.
This results in an aromatic rosé with a raspberry colour and aromas of citrus fruits and strawberries, with a hint of fresh herbs, which is energetic and delicate on the palate. A modern and flavourful Sancerre Rosé, to be enjoyed in its youth with a warm goats cheese salad or seafood risotto.

Situato nei comuni di Sury-en-Vaux e Maimbray (a nord di Sancerre), il Domaine du Pré Sémelé è stato creato negli anni '40. Ai suoi inizi possedeva solo 3 ettari di vigne, tre generazioni dopo, il vigneto si è esteso su 20 ettari e oggi i fratelli Julien e Clément Raimbault gestiscono insieme la proprietà. Le vigne sono coltivate secondo i principi della lotta integrata e seguendo le pratiche dell'agricoltura biologica; i filari restano inerbiti per spingere le viti a cercare i nutrienti in profondità. Per controllare le rese, la tenuta pratica la scacchiatura e la vendemmia verde. In cantina le vinificazioni sono rispettose della materia prima e naturali. I vini di questa tenuta si distinguono per la loro armonia, la loro intensità e la loro finezza; i bianchi presentano una grande purezza e una bella mineralità. Nel 2017, la tenuta è finita sotto i riflettori quando la Revue du Vin de France ha eletto la sua cuvée "Les Chasseigne" come secondo miglior Sauvignon al mondo!
