This wine has a beautiful garnet colour with hints of mauve, and a concentrated, well-formed bouquet packed with intense aromas of ripe fruit. On the palate, it has a lovely full-bodied structure that completely fills the mouth. Good potential to improve with age.

Propriétaire du vignoble du Château Maison-Neuve, dans l'appellation Montagne Saint-Émilion, et du Château La Faurie Maison Neuve sur l'appellation Lalande de Pomerol, Michel Coudray a acquis en 1987 le Château Haut-Tropchaud, implanté sur le plateau de Pomerol. Ses glorieux voisins sont Trotanoy et Petrus, rien de moins. Le vin du Château Haut-Tropchaud se caractérise par sa grande finesse et son élégance, soutenues par une puissance et une générosité remarquables. <
