Die Destillerie Blair Athol liegt am Ortseingang von Pitlochry und ist unter Sammlern für die hohe Qualität ihrer Whiskys seit den 60er Jahren bekannt. Die 8 und 12 Jahre alten Versionen sind sowohl aromatisch als auch ästhetisch ein Highlight und würdige Vertreter der Wirtschaftswunderzeit. Blair Athol beschränkte sich lange Zeit auf diese beiden in ehemaligen Sherry-Fässern gereiften Versionen. Später werden sie, unter dem Einfluss der Unternehmensgruppe United Distillers, in die Produktreihen The Rare Malts Selection, Flora & Fauna, Manager's Choice und Manager's Dram aufgenommen. Zudem sind sie Hauptbestandteil des Blends Bell's.
